Volunteer at a Community House That Feels Like Home
At St. Paul’s House, we call our volunteers Volunteer Friends. Each week, people from different backgrounds come alongside our neighbors to serve meals, pack groceries, welcome people in, and help care for the life of the House. Whether you share our Christian faith or simply have a heart to serve, your time, presence, and willingness to show up matter here.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED - Choose an opportunity
- Pantry Packing - Mondays | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Neighborhood Pantry - Tuesdays | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Creighton’s Café - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays | 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Stock with Cafe - Wednesdays (twice a month) | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Seasonal Opportunities - Holiday meals, events, special projects, and more
Register + Complete Your Waiver - Sign up through our Calendly page and complete the online volunteer waiver before serving. Teen volunteers must have a parent or guardian complete the required consent and signature.
Coming with a group? We welcome church groups, schools, companies, and community organizations. Complete our Group Sign-Up Form below.
Show Up & Serve With Heart - Come ready to lend a hand, meet your neighbors, and serve with kindness. Sometimes that means preparing food or carrying grocery bags. Other times, it simply means learning someone’s name, sharing a conversation, or making room for someone to feel welcome.
VOLUNTEERS UNDER 18 - Teen volunteers are welcome for eligible opportunities with parent or guardian consent. Some programs may have additional age requirements. WHY SERVE WITH US?
At St. Paul’s House, volunteering is about more than completing a task. It is about showing up for one another.
Our community includes longtime Hell’s Kitchen neighbors, older adults, families, students, people navigating homelessness, volunteers, and friends from all walks of life. When you give your time here, you help create a space marked by dignity, welcome, and belonging.
You may come expecting to serve, but our hope is that you also leave having shared a table, learned someone’s name, built a relationship, or experienced community in a new way.
All are welcome. You do not need to share our Christian faith to volunteer with us. We simply ask everyone who serves to honor the dignity of our neighbors and the Christian mission of St. Paul’s House.
